Early Intervention

Our early intervention programs are for children ages 2-5 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Children who are not yet diagnosed can also receive our services by private funding. Early intervention is a critical component of treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The earlier a child with autism receives intervention, the more likely they are to make significant progress in their development. During our assessment process, we will be able to advise you as to how many hours per week your child will need in order to gain meaningful results.

Children who are accessing our Early Intervention Program will receive an individualized program to address their needs. We use a variety of evidence based strategies to teach a variety of skills to our clients receiving early intervention such as:

  • Communication skills
  • Early to advanced language skills
  • Play skills
  • Self-help skills
  • Social communication skills
  • Adaptive skills

Consultations for children receiving Early Intervention are typically once to twice monthly.
