We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Interventionist to join our team. The Behavior Interventionist will work closely with individuals with behavioral challenges, developmental disabilities, or other conditions to implement behavior intervention plans and promote positive behavioral changes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of behavioral principles and techniques, excellent communication skills, and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct one-on-one behavioral intervention and support to clients in various settings, such as homes or community settings.
  • Utilize evidence-based behavioral techniques and strategies to teach new skills, reduce distressed behaviors, and promote positive social interactions.
  • Collect data on client behavior and progress towards goals, and maintain accurate records for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including BCBAs, therapists, educators, and family members, to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with clients and team members.
  • Participate in regular team meetings.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 years of experience working with children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties
• Experience delivering evidence-based interventions and strategies to support social skills development, emotional regulation, and behaviour management
• Knowledge of behaviour analysis principles and techniques
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in an ethical manner
• Valid driver’s license or access to reliable transportation
